Vehicular Fuel Dispensing Pump Seals

The increase in use of oxygenates (alcohols) to boost the effective octane rating in fuels causes swelling and property deterioration of elastomeric oil seals. Fluroelastomers provides excellent retention of low volume swell and physical properties after emersion in the fuel. Oil seals made of specialy high fluorine containing fluro-elastomers are well suited for service in fuel dispencing pumps.
